Sutter Eagle Project OVERVIEW Life Scout Nick Sutter's eagle project was set out in an effort to aid the 4H club in giving horses a shaded place to drink water. In the first week, the team ( 21 scouts and adults) began by clearing brush and debris from the drinking space, and trimming tree branches. In the second week, this time with a team of 11 adults and scouts, cracks in concrete troths were repaired and the crew installed a 100ft pvc pipe to ensure a steady flow of running water to the drinking space. Despite the challenges they faced throughout the course of 14 days, along with removing falling trees, the team managed to create a beautiful, shaded area for the horses- A 130 hours well spent, and greatly appreciated!
