CPR & Hearth Attacks

Curtiss Lanham, an Emergency Response Team Coordinator with S&B Engineers and Constructors, Ltd., will be covering First Class Requirement 8d:

  • the five most common signs of a heart attack
  • the steps in CPR

Mr. Lanham is a licensed paramedic and certified EMS Instructor for the State of Texas. His extensive 29-year career in emergency medical services includes volunteering with local EMS organizations, co-chairing the Houston Marathon Medical Committee, and being a member of the Alvin Community College of the EMS Advisory Board, just to name a few. Mr. Lanham is also the Paramedic Lead Instructor at Alvin Community College. He was honored with an Award of Heroism for his efforts during the Brookside Village pipeline explosion in October 1978.

It is an honor for Troop 740 to have such an experienced and knowledgeable presenter!
